I am an ordained minister, licensed in both California and Nevada. I have performed weddings along the golden shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe for almost nine years. When couples approach me to share their wedding dreams, I listen with a full heart. I get to know my couples well, so my ceremonies are especially personal. Members of the wedding audience often ask me how long I have been friends with my couples. I love my job, and couples always tell me, “That was perfect,” after my ceremonies. Having lived in Lake Tahoe for decades, I know every imaginable wedding site around the lake, both inexpensive and lavish. Only one witness is necessary in California and Nevada. If you are coming up for a spontaneous elopement alone, I can provide a witness for you. It is customary to give your witness $30. If the weather is terrible—extremely rare in Lake Tahoe, but it does happen—I can provide a beautiful indoor setting, free of charge. That alone is an enormous saving! For more involved packages, you can phone me for quotes. You must obtain the marriage license in the same state where your wedding is being held. For couples coming to Lake Tahoe from out of town, the marriage license offices around the lake are easy, quick places to visit. It rarely takes more than ten minutes to get your license; all you need are driver’s licenses. If you are coming from another country, bring your passports.
